Matthew Shafiroff, M.D.

Board-certified clinical informaticist and emergency medicine physician with over 2 decades of experience in health information technology and patient care. As the Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) at White Plains Hospital, I lead the implementation and optimization of information technology platforms to meet the needs of our clinical teams and patients.

My mission is to empower clinical caregivers and their patients to make informed and reasoned medical decisions through the use of electronic health records, clinical decision support and interoperability. I work collaboratively with clinicians, leadership, and information technology operations to create solutions that simplify physician workload, increase automation, and engage patient populations. I also leverage my exclusive relationship with East Post Road Ventures, a healthcare technology and patient experience company, to commercialize our knowledge and invest in quality projects.
