Randy Blum

Randy is the Vice President, Managed Care for Catholic Health, an integrated system encompassing six acute care hospitals, three nursing homes, a home health service, hospice and a network of physician practices.  His responsibilities include development of payer strategies and contract negotiations.  Randy brings with him over 20 years of experience on the payer side. Prior to joining Catholic Health in August, he spent four years at Healthfirst where he last served as its Vice President – Delivery System Engagement and prior to that he spent 15 years at UnitedHealth Group where he held a number of positions, including Vice President, Network Management –New York Market Lead.  Randy is a graduate of Binghamton University where he majored in math and economics and a certified  actuary.
